Bryce and "Papa"

Bryce and daddy visited Nana and Papa this weekend. Bryce had a great time with lots of new things to explore. He is enjoying some time with papa here. When they got back home I asked Andrew how Bryce behaved in church...and got this report...he was fine except that he kept pointing to his papa, who was up on stage ready to preach, and saying "papa". So I guess Bryce got to enjoy some time outside of the Sanctuary where he could chatter freely :)

Mother's Day

It was you!!!!

Bryce loves being in the spotlight. While at dinner this night he would repeatedly say something while very excited that sounded like "it was you" while pointing to someone. He seemed to like to tell Grammy that it was her alot! We have yet to discover what anyone did :)

Family

Cousins

Bryce and Samuel enjoying some time outdoors!

Bryce's first carousel ride

Bryce rode on his first carousel while at the zoo. He chose the aardvark to sit on for his carousel ride. He enjoyed every second of his adventure and loved looking for dad as we went around and around.

The bird exhibit!

Bryce and dad before entering the new bird exhibit at the zoo. Mom was very content to wait outside where no birds were flying around her head. Bryce had a great time being in with the birds!

Legos!

The zoo had a few exhibits with animals made from legos...something we thought the boys might like to see :)

At the zoo....

Bryce and mom are watching the giraffes eat lunch at the zoo.

Multitasking....

Bryce is typing while also seeing if there's anything good on tv. Typing was a good activity to allow him to cool down after the 90 degree (very humid :() day we had!

I wonder who's having more fun?....

Too smart for his own good???

Sometimes Bryce thinks of something and just has to keep testing it out until he conquers it. The other night at supper we looked over at Bryce to find him attempting to scoop ziti off his plate like this. Now he did it again the next night with his veggies and rice. We lovingly tell him this is not a polite way to eat, but it is amazing to see him concentrating so hard on something...and I guess you have to give him credit for not giving up:)

Bryce's new toy

Daddy and mommy got Bryce this new toy for being so well behaved all week. He loves having his own personal laptop to type on.

Go ahead Bryce, make yourself comfortable!

Music

Bryce loves music and especially loves listening to daddy play the guitar and sing. This was great entertainment for him as mommy cleaned up the dinner dishes!

Helping with the laundry

Bryce loves to help with the laundry. If I ask him to bring me a sock or washcloth, he will gladly do so. Here he is getting the washcloths out of the basket...and putting them back in....getting them out....and back in...I think you get the idea :)

My music machine!

Bryce has loved this music/light machine ever since he got it on his first Christmas from Uncle Dave and Aunt Kristie. He loves to look at the pictures on the ceiling and listen to the music as he goes to sleep. He also loves to play with the buttons and lights...this has become one of his favorite things to play with!

Do I have to get up yet mom?

This morning I had to get Bryce up early...7:30 to be exact. I opened the door, turned the light on and heard Bryce sigh and go back to sleep. I let him sleep 10 more minutes as I folded some laundry in his room, but then he just had to get up. He had a great day despite the early morning.

Bryce is growing up!

Bryce is walking and running alot these days...it seems he can't ever stand still. As a result, our little baby is turning into a toddler and losing his adorable baby rolls!

Me and my Aunt Kristie!

Bryce enjoyed blowing Aunt Kristie kisses as we were getting ready to leave NJ this weekend.

What a great Grammy!

Grammy and Grampy stayed up Bryce this weekend when he couldn't sleep in the very early morning hours....what wonderful grandparents he has :)

Relaxing with my Aunt Katie

Aunt Katie took Bryce out on the porch to enjoy some fresh air. Bryce really liked waving to all the cars that went by.

Reading with Dad

Bryce is starting to say alot of new words now...he read some of this book to us!
