Fixing the tv

Bryce loves to figure out whats broken on this handy manny tv and fix the problem. Usually pat the hammer can fix the problem!

Buzz

Bryce got this cool Buzz lightyear phone from papa and gigi. He has spent hours calling people and having conversations.

"I love grapes"

Bryce loves grapes and always says something to the effect, "I love grapes, or grapes really, really good". I had gotten a bowl of grapes ready this afternoon for a snack for Bryce and I. He started eating and soon the bowl of grapes was at the other side of the room next to him. After I noticed he had had a large helping I put the grapes up on the end table by the recliner....seemingly out of reach. As I was doing the dishes later I heard Bryce say, "Mama, really good grapes!". I went into the living room to find him lounged in the recliner, grapes in hand, and the bowl empty. And of course, a huge grin on his face!

Pizza and Ranch

Bryce loves when we have pizza for dinner, but especially loves the ranch. Thinking he would dip his pizza in the ranch we found him once eating it by the spoonful. He looked at us and said, "mmm, really, really good mama, dada!". On this occasion, he decided to lick the ranch off the pizza instead!

bryce's first bakery donut :)

Bryce had his first donut from the bakery last night. He got one with chocolate frosting and bright sprinkles. When we got home I gave him half and he decided to eat it without using his hands. He was basically just eating the frosting and sprinkles we found out. I went to the kitchen to get a snack, blueberry stonyfield yogurt, and when Bryce saw me he no longer wanted the donut. When there is stonyfield yogurt, Bryce just has to have some!

"Cool"

Bryce thought this mini flashlight dad got was "cool". We let him play with it as we were getting ready to go to the grocery store. He was really happy when I asked him if he wanted to take it into the grocery store. He replied with an enthusiastic, "umm, sure!"

Sleeping soundly

Bryce has a few sleeping buddies these days. He of course has his trusted Yankees blankie that he named "Mammy" when he was younger. He also loves to have his Manny plush doll in the crib when he sleeps. I often hear him talking and having a conversation with Manny in the morning when he just wakes up. And he loves to have this blue blanket, which we found can replace "Mammy" in an emergency. We found out that it's always good to have a back up blankie!

Just reading

Bryce loves to shout out any letters or numbers he sees. He will almost always count down the numbers on the checkouts as we are walking to checkout at the store. And if we are stopped at a stoplight, he will usually find a gas station or store sign with a name to spell. Here he found a business card on mom's vanity. He is saying numbers and letters so proudly...then he decided the card was a camera and was telling me "cheese!" with the card held up to his one eye.

Chuck e Cheese fun!

I wanted to take Bryce to chuck e cheese for my birthday this year...we had a great time. Bryce enjoyed all the games. He even stopped to check out and count his tickets after one very successful frog game. He got a chuck e cheese music cd and a crazy straw with his tickets. We even stopped for Chinese and a happy meal at the end of the night...everyone had a great night together!

Sooooo happy!

Bryce was so excited after he discovered we were headed to Chuck e cheese for mom's birthday. He talked about it the whole car ride and was shouting "chuck e cheese!!!" when we pulled into the parking lot...that was the best birthday gift :)

Letters

What better PJs than his alphabet pjs to wear to learn letters. Bryce got these new alphabet squares from Nana and Papa Ensign. He loves when I ask him where a letter is so he can find it. He has successfully found the letter "U" in this picture and is very proud of himself. He usually gives himself a round of applause after he finds the letter.

Bryce's pillow

Nana and Papa Ensign came to visit last weekend and got this great Cars pillow for Bryce. It also came with a rolling suitcase and blanket. He had a great time pushing his new suitcase around the Disney store.

One of my favorite things....

Bryce can spot the Toy Story logo or character anywhere...no matter how small it may be. While checking out at the grocery store one night he spotted a tiny buzz lightyear on the plastic bar that separates each customers groceries. So, needless to say, when he opened this Toy Story shirt from Great aunt Karen and Great Uncle Ken he was thrilled. He loves wearing it and naming all the characters before putting it on for the day!

Learning with Handy Manny!

Bryce loves the interactive learning games on the ipad. He has become a pro at the matching game and puzzles.

Spelling fun!

Bryce loves letters and numbers. He is enjoying some breakfast this morning and spelling a word or two...with mom's help of course. He loves to sing the alphabet song with you and fill in the missing letters. He also loves to repeat numbers after we say them...so far we are up to 30 and he can count to ten independently. He was wearing his Mickey mouse pj's too so he thought it was a splendid morning!

Lobster

While on vacation last September Grandma and Grandpa Weber took us to Red Lobster for lunch. The hostess asked if Bryce wanted to touch one of the lobsters out of the lobster tank and Bryce quickly agreed. He touched the lobster quick, then laughed and decided to try again. He is quite curious!

Grandma and Grandpa Weber's

I also came across this old photo from vacation showing Bryce eating his first bowl of trix. Grandma and Grandpa Weber had cereal that Bryce had never had before...he ate it right up!

Phone call!

I found this picture of Bryce talking on the phone while sorting through old pictures. These days he loves to grab our old cell phone and make a call to family...it often goes something like this..."Oh, hi ,(papa, gigi, nana, katie, aba...or whoever he decides to call that day), haha ok love you too, bye!"

bryce in ohio

While packing and preparing for the move I came across a camera card with some Wisconsin vacation pictures on it that I had never found before. It's been a while since then, but here is Bryce in Ohio! He loved stopping at the rest areas but didn't really enjoy getting his picture taken with all the signs!

Bryce and Sam

Bryce and Sam got their pictures done together at JCPenney this day and now are sitting down to relax. Aunt Katie put an episode of curious george on her ipad for the boys to watch and enjoy.

The little chemist...

Bryce is showing off his periodic table of the elements t-shirt that he got from Aunt Amy, (aka Dr. Ensign...a chemistry professor), for his 2nd birthday. Bryce loves when I pull this t-shirt out of the dresser to wear because he loves to point to and name all the letters on it.

Too funny!

Bryce loves to look in the mirror and exclaim loudly, "Hey, it's me!" or "It's Bry!" He finds himself to be quite funny!

Curious Bryce :)

Bryce loves to help with everything from washing the dishes and sweeping the floor...and even helping mommy put on her makeup. He loves to put my blush on for me in the morning. Today while I was finishing up doing my makeup I found him in front of the mirror brushing his hair with my eyelash brush. He thought that was too funny!

Ipad fun

Bryce loves playing the ipad. He asks frequently throughout the day, "Ipad mama, Ipad?" Unfortunately, we have to tell him no alot but do let him play for a little bit some days. He loves the Handy Manny app where he can put puzzles together, find the tools hidden in the workshop, color, and play matching games. He also loves the Toy story book. This is also one of those rare times when you can get some cuddle time with Bryce!

T-ball

Bryce loves to grab his glove and play some T-ball. Here he is ready to play.

One tired boy...

After spending the night at Gigi and Papa's house Bryce had worn himself right out. When we got home late this night he went over to the Christmas tree and curled up next to it. He was asleep in seconds!

Gigi's shoes

It seems as though Bryce always wants to be involved in what the adults are doing these days. He wants to try new things all the time. He came around the corner at Gigi and Papa's house one night wearing Gigi's shoes! He often does this with dad's shoes at home, but I think Gigi's shoes were a better fit for him!

Cousins

Samuel and Bryce have a great time together. They decided to play hide and seek with Aunt Katie one night. When they found her they couldn't stop giggling. Then Bryce would say "do it again, Katie...do it again!" and Aunt Katie would hide again. Meanwhile, Samuel was still giggling in the background!
