T-rex roar!

bryce loves his t-rex that he got from papa and gigi. he will often share his afternoon snack with t-rex and run around the house roaring with him. Sometimes he likes to ride on t-rex's back around the house too.

t-rex

lunchtime!

bryce loves to announce "lunchtime!" when it's time to eat. He took a quick break from the pool this afternoon for some lunch and one of his favorite treats...strawberries :)

don't drink the pool water

Bryce thought it was too funny to take a sip of the pool water from his shovel. I told him not to drink the pool water because it's dirty. He responded, "but why?"...I said when you get in and out dirt from your feet get in the pool. He responded again, "but why?". I feared this was going to be the favorite question for the day and I happened to be right...he sure is curious!

Rain boots

Despite the 90 degree heat and lack of rain bryce insisted on keeping his rain boots on around the house.

Beating the heat

Bryce has enjoyed his new swimming pool and it has been some relief to the heat lately. He loves going down the slide and racing his two trucks down the slide.

Bryce's baby brother

Another picture of Bryce's baby brother which he will now sometimes refer to as "B" and give a kiss to on mom's belly when he's feeling cooperative. after giving a kiss he will announce proudly "I gave baby a kiss!!"

"hey, where'd it go?"

bryce kept asking "hey, where'd it go?" while looking for his two trucks laying on the bottom of the pool which he found quickly after.

Swimming pool

Bryce loves to tell you when his food is "too cold" or "too hot". we asked him if the water in the swimming pool was too cold when he wanted to test it out. he said "no, not cold". I think he changed his mind after going down the slide...he was soon running to mom to go inside and get warmed up. as soon as he got dried off and warmed up he was asking to go back into the swimming pool.

sprinkler fun

Dad was starting to fill the swimming pool up and bryce just couldn't stay out of the water. He kept running in and out of the water after dad made it into a sprinkler of sorts. he was still happy afterwards and had such a fun time.

"Dada we need water!"

Bryce was so excited about getting his swimming pool set up that he had to test it out while dad was getting it set up. He kept letting us know that we needed to add water to the swimming pool.

Bryce really wanted to help mom and dad water the garden. As you can tell, he was very focused and that one spot of soil got watered very well :)

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

Bryce got some new books from aunt Katie this weekend one of which was Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. This has become one of his favorites and he always has a great time reading it. He shouts "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, abc!"

Bryce's garden

Bryce has a special garden that he loves to work on. He usually heads for this patch of dirt first thing when we go outside and starts digging.

Gigi and me!

Bryce and mom went to visit Papa and gigi this weekend while dad was away on a retreat. bryce had a great time and even got to go with papa and gigi to sunday school. He was excited all morning to go to church and let me take a picture with gigi before they left.

'My T-Rex"

bryce went to the toy store with papa putzke this weekend and picked out a few toys. One of his favorites was this t-rex. He likes to karate kick him or knock him to the ground with a hammer. He's all boy!

Uncle Damian

Bryce went to chuck e cheese (after asking to go every day for some time) with mom, aunt katie, uncle D, and Samuel. He had so much fun and must have worn himself out. he fell asleep on the way home and slept on the couch with uncle D for a while when we got home.

Cousin Sam

Sam is enjoying an ice cream cone that Bryce decided wasn't for him. bryce had a great time playing with baby sam this weekend and would often say "oh baby sam, you're so cute!"

I was getting dinner together to find bryce at the dining room table getting the salads ready for us. He loves to help me cook.

One of Bryce's favorite games to play is basketball with dad. Bryce usually wins :)

Bryce had a kiwi for a snack this night and when i came to get him i found him cleaning off his plate.

Hmmm..."what do i want?"

When I got home from work Sunday afternoon I found my two boys relaxing in the recliner, going through the Sunday paper ads. Bryce of course had an HH gregg flyer and found quite a few electronic items he would like to have!

Grocery helper

Bryce is helping to unpack the groceries and arrange them in an orderly fashion for mom and dad. What a good helper!

bryce's brother!

we found out today that bryce is going to be a big brother to a baby boy! He is already exhibiting many of bryce's characteristics...he is very active. it was difficult to get a good look at his face because he kept turning his back to the camera :) He seems like a very happy baby already!

after playing in the water while dad was watering the garden, bryce got soaked but had alot of fun. he asked to come inside and then had to take a breather on the couch and dry off. i think he may have worn himself out.

Bryce loves spending time outdoors. He enjoyed playing catch and a little soccer this night with dad. While watering the garden one night with the hose he even enjoyed running in and out of the stream of water, giggling the whole time, until he was soaked and finally asked to go inside.
