Bryce enjoyed painting a work of art for mom and dad today. He caught right on and was painting with all sorts of colors in no time. He would enthusiastically reply "ah ha" when I asked him if he wanted to keep painting a little more.

Picture time
We soon discovered that trying to take a picture with all three kids was not the easiest task. It was nearing 8 pm and Bryce was more than ready to gome home and get some sleep. With that being said, this was the picture that Bryce was cooperating the most for us. I still think it's great that we got all 3 kids together in a picture...happy or not!
Our adorable niece Aubrey!
We saw our 2 month old niece Aubrey this weekend. We think she is too cute...with her extra chubby cheeks and curly black hair. Shortly after Andrew took this picture, sweet little Aubrey fell asleep in my arms...and I had a hard time putting her back down :)
Loving baby Sam!
Bryce loved seeing Samuel this weekend. He thought it was pretty funny to pop Sam's binky out of his mouth and then give it back to him again and again. Bryce loved sitting down on the floor facing Sam. He proceeded to talk away to him and hand him toys to play with. He loved seeing baby Aubrey as well. When it was time to go he had a hard time leaving and quite a few heartbreaking words and tears escaped :(
Aunt Kristie and Uncle Dave
Bryce got to see his Aunt Kristie, Uncle Dave, and cousin Aubrey this weekend. He had a great time reading some books with Aunt Kristie.

Bryce's big personality
Bryce has always had a spunky personality. He began making this face a few weeks ago when things weren't quite going his way. Today he's making the face because I gently told him it was not okay to lick the dirt off the rocks :(

Bryce...don't pick the flowers
Bryce thought he could get away with picking the flower petals off the flowers planted on our patio. I told him a few times not to pick the flowers...then he started to become sneaky about it. He would pretend to tap the flowers and just happen to end up with some petals in his hands. When he found out he would have to go inside if he kept picking the petals that suddenly was not any fun anymore :)

Fun while folding laundry!
Bryce loves to help me fold laundry and will stay with me until the last piece is folded. When he handed me the bed sheet I asked him if he wanted to help me fold it and he answered enthusiastically "ah ha!". Dad and mom decided to let Bryce have a little fun since he was such a good helper. He loved getting back on the sheet again and again for another swing through the air.
Toy Story 3
Bryce likes anything with Toy Story characters after he saw Toy Story 3. He is having a good time reading his Toy Story 3 book.
Taking a mini-nap
Bryce will often take a quick break to lie down and get a mini-nap in. These last anywhere from 5-10 seconds and apparently give him a sudden burst of energy as he usually is ready to go when he gets up.
Catch!
Bryce really enjoys playing catch. He doesn't give you much warning before he throws the ball your way and yells catch however. We bought him his first baseball glove and he has been practicing with dad. He has quite the arm for a little guy!
Papa and me
Bryce is enjoying some cuddle time with Papa Ensign. Nana and Papa came to visit us this weekend. Bryce enjoyed their visit and can't wait to see them again!

Carnival fun
We took Bryce to a local carnival so he could celebrate our anniversary with us. He enjoyed the rides and games...and we had alot of fun watching him have such a good time!
Pick a duck for a prize
Bryce got to pick three ducks out of this tub of water and won a prize. At first he wasn't too sure about putting his hand in with all of those ducks, but was thrilled to see them swimming about. He eventually got the hang of it and won a stuffed whale.
Hold on tight!
The operator of this super slide told Andrew to hold on tight to Bryce as the slide is very quick. I guess he knew what he was talking about...Andrew said he got some air on the last bump in the slide. It's a good thing Bryce is up for alot of excitement!
Too much fun...
Bryce is having lots of fun at the carnival riding in the boats! What a great dad Andrew is for riding in the little boat with Bryce to make sure he was okay :)

Letters and numbers!
Bryce knows many of his letters and numbers now. He enjoys having one of us ask him where a certain letter or number is and he will proudly grab it off of the fridge and hand it to us. Here Bryce and dad are enjoying a round of alphabet and number questions!

Entering the playground...
Bryce ran to the playground tonight with delight. It was a very humid night, however, and it was soon apparent that it was time to leave so Bryce could cool down. He was very creative in his stalling method. He obeyed us when we said it was time to leave but would veer off and pretend like he found something so cool in the grass. He would show it to us and when we finally said no more excuses Bryce was heartbroken. Once we got him cooled off with some water and ac he was a happy camper once again!

Bryce still loves being outdoors. We recently discovered a new playground near our house and went to test it out this night. Bryce had a great time...he still likes to try to climb up the slides instead of sliding down them :)

Reading
Bryce loves the learn to read disney books. He will sit down with one and read it aloud...apparently the story gets pretty funny sometimes as he will often throw his head back and laugh.
Bryce's new dump truck
Bryce got this new dump truck from grammy and grampy. He likes to put Woody in the truck and push him around the kitchen.
