Handy Manny

Bryce got lots of great gifts on his 2nd birthday and exclaimed "oh, wow" when opening them. One of his gifts was a Handy Manny automatic 4 wheeler. He hopped right on and was zooming around in no time. When we got home he was eager to get on and ride again, but our townhouse is not very conducive to riding a 4 wheeler inside...needless to say Bryce almost knocked the Christmas tree down in his eagerness to ride. Good thing there is a basketball court a few steps away where he can ride!

Birthday cake!

Aunt Amy made Bryce this Handy Manny cupcake display for his 2nd birthday with the Ensign's.

Christmas tree fun at Nana and Papa Ensign's

While on our visit for Thanksgiving, Nana and Papa got the Christmas tree out for the kids to help decorate. Here, the 4 boys are diligently working on hanging the ornaments on the tree!

Bryce and Ryan

Bryce had a great time spending Thanksgiving with cousin Ryan. They enjoyed playing with matchbox cars together. Bryce is still asking us , "Where's Ry-ry?" He misses his play buddy!

Decorating for Christmas!!!

We got out all the Christmas decorations tonight to make the house a bit more festive. Bryce was particularly interested in the tree. He wanted to help set up the branches. He began "helping" by placing the unopened branches on the opened ones...this was followed by him stating "Oh...okay" and running to grab another branch. The tree soon became lopsided as Bryce was placing the branches in the same spot on the tree. He also wanted to help with the lights...what this really entailed was mom and dad restringing the lights a few times after Bryce pulled them off the tree! We're glad he was eager to help!

Thanksgiving!

I (Karen) originally had to work on Thanksgiving Day but another nurse was nice enough to work for me so I could spend the day with family. We were planning to cook a Thanksgiving meal when I got home from work that day, but won't be home now. We decided to have our own family Thanksgiving a few days early since we already had all the food. Bryce ate every bite...and is looking forward to another Thanksgiving at Nana and Papa Ensign's house!

Birthday gifts!

Bryce is using some of his birthday gifts he got this weekend. He is wearing his snuggly pjs from aunt Katie and Uncle Damian while playing with some play-doh from Aunt Kristie and Uncle Dave.

"Bye baby Aubee"

When everyone was heading home I think Bryce decided he wanted to go home with Aunt Kristie and Uncle Dave...he hopped in Aubrey's infant carseat and grinned. He had to eventually surrender his seat to Aubrey however. He sat down with her and said "bye baby Aubee"...and blew her kisses goodbye.

Uncle Dave and Bryce

Bryce had a great time with Uncle Dave on his birthday!

Birthday gifts

Bryce opened his presents with much enthusiasm. He exclaimed "oh, wow" as he discovered what was wrapped up for him. He loves all of his gifts!

Sweet little cupcake!

Baby Aubrey enjoyed the birthday party as well. She giggled as Bryce ate his cake and blew her kisses. I can tell these cousins love each other!

Handy Manny birthday!!!

Bryce had his 2 year Handy Manny birthday party this weekend. He enjoyed all the fun. Aunt Kristie made Bryce his very own Handy Manny cookies and cream cake. His favorite part were the oreos on top of the cake...he was nice, however, and shared a few bites with Grampy. He also enjoyed the fondant Handy Manny characters and fondant bolts (the cake border) and gobbled those down without a problem. He had a great day with family and the Handy Manny crew!

Getting ready for my party...

We celebrated Bryce's 2 year party a few days early this year since his birthday is on Thanksgiving. He found the bag of party decorations in mom and dad's room and began exclaiming , "oohhh, what's that...it's Manny!" He was quite disheartened when we had to pick up the decorations to set up for the party.

Leaves!

Bryce really enjoys playing with the leaves on the back patio. He likes to jump in the leaf pile and often will bring some leaves in from outside to keep. I decided to let him pick out some leaves to make a fall place mat with. He had a great time with this craft and especially loves the picture of him and dad that we placed in the center of the place mat. Now he gets to see dad every morning at breakfast!

Tired boy

Bryce is ready for his nap as he finishes watching an episode of Super Why. He loves to name the letters of the alphabet as they come up on the screen in this cartoon.

Veggies!

We believe Bryce was simply born a good eater. There's not much that he won't eat without it being followed by an "mmm, that's good!". Here he is enjoying some broccoli...one of his favorite veggies. We've discovered he especially enjoys the broccoli they have at Red Lobster and always get that as a side for him to enjoy!

Fun on the air mattress!

Bryce had a great time bouncing around on the air mattress...we heard lots of giggles and laughs!

Aunt Heather

Bryce enjoyed snuggling with Aunt Heather after a long day of shopping at the outlets.

Bryce's gift from Heather

Aunt Heather came to visit this week and brought Bryce some presents. He enjoyed unwrapping them and then reading the instructions as we put the handy manny set together.

Matchbox cars

Bryce always has a matchbox car in hand these days!

Playing with cousin Sam

Bryce had a great time playing with his cousin Sam on our last visit to NJ. The boys had lost some toys under the couch and Bryce had to get them back for Sam. They enjoyed crawling around and chasing each other around the house.

Playing the Ipad with Grampy

As soon as Bryce sees Grampy with the ipad he just has to get in on the fun. He loves playing baseball, racing games, and the piano.

Football

After Bryce's trip to chuck e cheese he got to watch some football with dad and eat one of his favorite foods...bread! Bryce loves watching sports of all kinds and lets you know when a big play or something exciting in the game happens. He usually can't stop talking about it!

Music

Bryce really enjoyed the music and characters on stage a chuck e cheese. He went over and pulled his chair out and watched for some time as the characters sang and danced.

Helping dad

Bryce wanted to help dad put the tickets in the machine at chuck e cheese. He ended up getting a nerf ball with his tickets and thought that was pretty cool.

Chuck E Cheese!!!

Since we don't celebrate Halloween with Bryce we thought it would be nice to take him out that night to Chuck E Chesse. He had a great time riding the rides and playing some racing games with dad. I think his favorite game by far was skeeball. Here he is getting ready for the throw. With his good arm the skeeball almost made it in!
