cars
Bryce loves his matchbox cars. He likes to name their color and then shout, "1, 2, 3 GO!"....as the car goes flying down the kitchen floor!

"I love grapes"
Bryce loves grapes and always says something to the effect, "I love grapes, or grapes really, really good". I had gotten a bowl of grapes ready this afternoon for a snack for Bryce and I. He started eating and soon the bowl of grapes was at the other side of the room next to him. After I noticed he had had a large helping I put the grapes up on the end table by the recliner....seemingly out of reach. As I was doing the dishes later I heard Bryce say, "Mama, really good grapes!". I went into the living room to find him lounged in the recliner, grapes in hand, and the bowl empty. And of course, a huge grin on his face!
Pizza and Ranch
Bryce loves when we have pizza for dinner, but especially loves the ranch. Thinking he would dip his pizza in the ranch we found him once eating it by the spoonful. He looked at us and said, "mmm, really, really good mama, dada!". On this occasion, he decided to lick the ranch off the pizza instead!

bryce's first bakery donut :)
Bryce had his first donut from the bakery last night. He got one with chocolate frosting and bright sprinkles. When we got home I gave him half and he decided to eat it without using his hands. He was basically just eating the frosting and sprinkles we found out. I went to the kitchen to get a snack, blueberry stonyfield yogurt, and when Bryce saw me he no longer wanted the donut. When there is stonyfield yogurt, Bryce just has to have some!
"Cool"
Sleeping soundly
Bryce has a few sleeping buddies these days. He of course has his trusted Yankees blankie that he named "Mammy" when he was younger. He also loves to have his Manny plush doll in the crib when he sleeps. I often hear him talking and having a conversation with Manny in the morning when he just wakes up. And he loves to have this blue blanket, which we found can replace "Mammy" in an emergency. We found out that it's always good to have a back up blankie!
Just reading
Bryce loves to shout out any letters or numbers he sees. He will almost always count down the numbers on the checkouts as we are walking to checkout at the store. And if we are stopped at a stoplight, he will usually find a gas station or store sign with a name to spell. Here he found a business card on mom's vanity. He is saying numbers and letters so proudly...then he decided the card was a camera and was telling me "cheese!" with the card held up to his one eye.

Chuck e Cheese fun!
I wanted to take Bryce to chuck e cheese for my birthday this year...we had a great time. Bryce enjoyed all the games. He even stopped to check out and count his tickets after one very successful frog game. He got a chuck e cheese music cd and a crazy straw with his tickets. We even stopped for Chinese and a happy meal at the end of the night...everyone had a great night together!
Sooooo happy!
Letters
What better PJs than his alphabet pjs to wear to learn letters. Bryce got these new alphabet squares from Nana and Papa Ensign. He loves when I ask him where a letter is so he can find it. He has successfully found the letter "U" in this picture and is very proud of himself. He usually gives himself a round of applause after he finds the letter.
Bryce's pillow
One of my favorite things....
Bryce can spot the Toy Story logo or character anywhere...no matter how small it may be. While checking out at the grocery store one night he spotted a tiny buzz lightyear on the plastic bar that separates each customers groceries. So, needless to say, when he opened this Toy Story shirt from Great aunt Karen and Great Uncle Ken he was thrilled. He loves wearing it and naming all the characters before putting it on for the day!
Learning with Handy Manny!
Spelling fun!
Bryce loves letters and numbers. He is enjoying some breakfast this morning and spelling a word or two...with mom's help of course. He loves to sing the alphabet song with you and fill in the missing letters. He also loves to repeat numbers after we say them...so far we are up to 30 and he can count to ten independently. He was wearing his Mickey mouse pj's too so he thought it was a splendid morning!
