Easter from Nana and Papa Ensign

Bryce got an Easter basket from nana and papa ensign. He loved it. He was especially happy with the bag of jelly beans he found and had to try a few right away. He also loves the humpty dumpty puzzle...he put it together 5 times yesterday and it was the first thing he asked to do this morning. Thanks Nana and Papa!

4 wheeling

Bryce riding his 4 wheeler in the backyard. He loves to pretend to fix the 4 wheeler as much as he loves to ride it.

Flowers for mom

Bryce loves picking dandelions from the backyard for mom. He will always bring me flowers while playing outside. If I am inside making supper in the kitchen he will come to the door and knock to give me my flowers!

Bryce's favorite character from toy story 3 is bullseye. he got this bullseye lego duplo set for Easter and loves it.

Walking to the playground

Bryce was very excited to be walking to the playground with Aunt Kristie. He went down some fun slides, chased bubbles, went on the swings, and most importantly...stomped and splashed in every rain puddle he could!

Easter Egg hunt!

Aunt "T" and uncle Dave set up an easter egg hunt for Bryce. He got matchbox cars, candy, books, stickers, and a slinky among some other cool stuff. Bryce really enjoyed searching for the eggs and being surprised by what was inside. When he got the slinky he thought this was too cool!

FAO Schwarz

Bryce visited FAO Schwarz while in NYC. He played the Big Piano and read in the storytime chair. We found some cool Toy Story legos and a new book too. When it was time to leave the store and get a picture with the soldier he was a bit spent...that explains the last picture!

Bryce loved riding the subway "or choo-choo" in NYC. He loved walking through NYC and seeing all the people and tall buildings.

Bryce had a great time visiting Uncle Dave this Easter. He let Bryce do some pull-ups on the pull-up bar and play some cool games on his ipad...what a cool uncle!

Bryce was very excited to see his cousin aubrey on Easter. I think bryce had the whole toybox emptied within 15 of being at Aunt kristie and Uncle Dave's house. He had a fun time playing with aubrey!

Dad's ice cream?

i brought andrew home a butterscotch dilly bar last night. Bryce spotted the ice cream, hopped up in the recliner with dad, and it soon became apparent this was Bryce's dilly bar...not dad's! bryce helped dad finish the dilly bar and then went over to the couch to see if Aunt stacey needed help with her ice cream cone :)

Bryce was very excited to get his free red crayon from the crayola factory. He exclaimed, "look mama, a red crayon!" when he showed me.

Bryce had alot of fun with the sidewalk chalk exhibit at the crayola factory. He was coloring away and even "helped" some other kids out with their artwork!

The cookie caper

We found Bryce sneaking some cookies off the table this night. This reminded me of the night that i made an apple pie and left it on the end of the dining room table to cool. i came into the dining room to find bryce kneeling on a chair at the table digging into the pie with his spoon. He always just wants a bite or two to test the sweets out...never eats the whole piece of course!

Bryce did a great job putting toy story stickers on the colored easter eggs. His favorite character, bullseye (pronounced buuullseye by bryce) is pictured on alot of the finished easter eggs. He started giving hugs and kisses to bullseye and then even gave the easter eggs hugs and kisses! When he was almost done decorating the eggs one slipped from his hand and fell to the floor...he looked at me upset and said, "oh, no, my egg mama!"

Bryce really enjoyed putting sprinkles on the easter sugar cookies for mom. He did a great job, but eventually discovered how tasty the sprinkles were and that was the end of decorating. he decided to eat sprinkles off the plate by the handful as fast as he could instead!

"you've got a friend in me!"

Bryce loves Toy Story. daddy will often sing "you've got a friend in me"(among a bunch of bryce's other favorite songs)before bryce turns in for the night. i found him looking very closely at the toy story 3 dvd case and then heard a little voice singing "you've got a friend in me". he has been singing that line all day and smiling!

"but why, mama?"

One of bryce's favorite questions..."but why, mama?". he asked me this again after having to take off his Easter outfit. I told him we had to take it off so we could pack it for a special Easter trip and he felt a little better, but had to keep the hat. He ran around in his diaper and Yankees hat for a while before getting dressed for the day

Easter

I was trying bryce's easter outfit on this morning and he found his yankees hat. he put his hat on proudly all by himself. he didn't want to take the hat or the suit off all morning.

Exercising again with mom

Every time I do my exercise Bryce has to join in. This week he was intent on putting on mama's shoes and dad's baseball cap to work out with mama. He loves putting any pair of shoes on and roaming around the house.

Dirt!

Bryce loves digging in the dirt but isn't a huge fan of dirt on his hands. He decided to wipe the dirt on his face to get it off his hands...not sure that was much better!
