The boys on Sunday morning

Bryce is always so excited to go to children's church on Sunday. He was eager to get in the car and get going but did agree to stop for a quick pic with Brayden. And Brayden loves watching everything that's going on in the sanctuary during the service.

Nana and Papa with the boys

Nana and Papa Ensign came to visit this weekend. The boys had a great time. Bryce got this curious george book from nana and papa and wanted to read story after story.

Bryce is sporting his new Yankee shirt from papa and gigi. He loves baseball but still tells mom and dad he is going to play football and soccer.

Brayden's shoes

I had these cute snowman shoes on Brayden (thanks aunt Beth!) and Bryce said to me, "wow look at Bray's shoes mom, those are kinda awesome!"...everything is "kinda awesome" to Bryce these days. He thought since Bray was wearing shoes that he could walk now...I had to break the news to a very disappointed Bryce :(

The boys

Brayden loves one of his new books "Panda in the Park". He loves it when we read him that book and will often smile the whole time we're reading it. Here he is looking at panda in the park while on his tummy. Bryce is in the background showing Brayden how to roll over :) Brayden just rolled over for the first time today, just before his 3 month birthday!

Car fun

Bryce and Samuel love matchbox cars and got a kick out of watching the cars go down the racetrack and around the loop.

making a mug cake

Bryce heard dad talking about a cake he had eaten at work and then really wanted a cake of his own. We decided to make this mug cake that could be all his own. He had fun mixing the ingredients and tossing in the peanut butter chocolate chips. When it was time to cook the cake he stared at the microwave for the entire 3 minutes watching it bake. He enjoyed his cake!

Bryce's work

Bryce has always loved anything to do with the alphabet and spelling. He got this magnadoodle for Christmas and loves writing letters on it. He wrote almost the whole alphabet one night and then wanted to do some spelling. We told him what letters to write and he wrote these words all by himself. He was so proud of himself. When it was time for bed i told him we could spell and write one more word and asked him what word he wanted to write...he replied, I want to spell "zig-zag" mom.

Brayden's smile

we love Brayden's smile...he is always smiling and so happy when we get him out of his crib in the morning :)

Spelling

Bryce got these spelling activity boards from aunt katie and uncle damian for Christmas. He loves spelling the words again and again.

Strong Museum

Bryce enjoyed visiting the Strong Children's museum while in Rochester.

Bryce was happy to help papa and gigi rake the front lawn.

Brayden got this raceway from papa and gigi for Christmas. Bryce loves racing the cars and Brayden loves to watch.

"This is a great book!"

Nana and Papa Ensign got this book for Brayden for Christmas...it has their voices recorded reading the book when you turn the pages. I often find Bryce with the book listening and smiling as he listen's to nana and papa reading the story. He always says to me "this is a great book mom!" Brayden loves to listen too.

Silver bells, Silver bells

Bryce was painting his Christmas bell silver and broke out in song singing, "silver bells, silver bells, it's Christmastime in the city!"

Christmas ornaments

bryce loves making playdoh Christmas ornaments every year for his Christmas tree he has in his room. He had fun cutting out shapes and painting this year and managed to get paint everywhere, even on his shirt that we took off to avoid getting paint on...we were a little late in making these this year...it was a New Year's Day project!

Mobigo from Nana and Papa Weber

Bryce loved the Mobigo and games which his Nana and Papa Weber got him for Christmas. Thanks Nana and Papa Weber.

Christmas with the Ensigns

Bryce enjoyed celebrating Christmas with the Ensigns. He had fun opening gifts and playing with his cousins. He is relaxing with cousin Aaron (for a few minutes:) and playing with his new racetrack with cousin Ryan.

Mrs. Claus

We took Bryce to see a light display while visiting papa and gigi for Christmas in NJ. He was expecting to see Santa Claus and was very excited until he found out that santa was not there that night...Mrs. Claus was there instead. He did let us take a picture with Mrs. Claus but was not too thrilled about it.

We celebrated Christmas with papa and gig...Bryce loved his lego table he got and loves to build houses and towers. He had fun helping everyone open their presents too!
