loving life :)
brayden is such a happy carefree boy! He loves his solid food now...especially pears and sweet potatoes but he's happy eating peas and bananas too. He also loves to play in his highchair...I think so he can have a good view of what's going on around the house...Bryce is always entertaining to watch. He is growing up fast!

"T-ball is a so good game!"
Bryce is really enjoying the warm weather recently because he gets to play in the backyard alot. He wanted to play t-ball tonight. He kept saying "t-ball is a so good game!" and "I'll run around the field this time" It made us both laugh when we heard him clear his throat and hit his bat on the ground a few times before stepping up to the tee to bat. Can you tell he likes to watch baseball with dad?

Brayden rolls over
Brayden rolled over back to belly for the first time on March 10th. Ever since he has decided to keep rolling over when no one is watching or when we step out of the room for a second. I decided to take the video camera with me this time while I "stepped out of the room".
"k" is for cold
bryce had some ice cream and blueberries after supper tonight. I kept hearing him say "this is the biggest ice cream i've ever seen!" again and again so I decided to get it on video. At the end I heard him say , "hey, 'k' is for cold"...not quite but good effort Bryce :)
The playground
After playing and running around the playground bryce was too tired to walk back. I carried him for a while and then thought it was silly that I was carrying the 32 lb boy and strolling the 17 lb boy. Bryce wanted to hop in the stroller so we made the switch...and everyone was happy on the walk/ride back home :)

Our handsome 5 month old
Brayden turned 5 months old yesterday. He is eating down cereal and fruit with delight and is soon to start trying some veggies. He is rolling over like a pro now. Of course I am always making a bottle, helping Bryce in the bathroom, or making dinner when he decides to roll over. I have never once seen him roll over... I just come back in the room to find him on his belly. Dad saw him roll over once but we have yet to capture this milestone on video!

Happy baby
socks
Bryce hates wearing socks and you will most likely always find him running around the house barefoot. He also has this habit of throwing his socks behind the recliner after he takes them off. I was putting some laundry in the dryers upstairs and came back down to find Brayden barefoot and his socks nowhere in sight. I knew right where to look but Bryce said, "mom, just wait, don't look where I'm going. I'll get Bray's socks!" He must think I don't know where he tosses them :)
The boys
Bryce and Bray were relaxing in the recliner this morning. Bray kept leaning over and grabbing Bryce's pjs. Bryce was getting upset asking Bray, "Bray, why are you pulling my pjs?" Bray would just look at him and smile. He loves when Bryce talks to him. I think he's preparing so he can keep up with Bryce when they get older :)

The boys with their quilts :)
I made each of the boys their own quilt. Brayden's is working great...any baby spit-up wipes right off the flannel :) And Bryce got a tic tac toe quilt. Of course such a unique boy needs such a unique quilt. He didn't want one with his name on it he said since he already had his "b-r-y-c-e" bag. When I finished his quilt we wound up playing 20+ games of tic tac toe and he told me, "wow, thanks mom, this is just so beautiful!"
