All by myself...

Bryce announces on a regular basis that he is going to do something...'all by myself'...and he usually does.  One of his favorite things to do all by himself is get a drink of water.  He feels pretty proud of himself using the fridge on his own.

The news

Whenever the news is on Bryce grabs his chair from his room and brings it to the livingroom.  He then announces that the news is on and talks about the events of the day as well as his zoo work.  For anyone that doesn't know about Bryce's job he told me he is the zookeeper of lots of animals.  When we go away for the weekend we have to encourage him to call in and take a day off from his work...what an imagination!

Frozen yogurt!

Both boys are enjoying some frozen yogurt on Memorial day. Brayden wasn't too sure at first but after he got a taste he gladly ate some more.  And when Bryce is eating frozen yogurt it may be one of the only times he isn't talking about something...we sure do love them!

Brayden

Memorial day weekend

Bryce was so happy that dad got to stay home from work an extra day this weekend as we celebrated Memorial day.  We visited Corningfest where Bryce was very interested in the glass blowing exhibit.  We also went to the Memorial Day parade...Bryce waved to everyone and giggled when they waved back.  He especially loved the fire trucks and free candy.

Outdoor fun

Bryce is loving the warm weather and long hours he gets to play outside.  Two of his favorite activities are playing with his new pitch-back from papa and gigi and going down his new water slide!

Handsome guy

Bryce loves to talk to anyone and everyone.  The common conversation is "Hi, I'm Bryce and I'm 3.  And this is Brayden.  He's 7 months.  How old are you?"  On one occasion the cashier who was older said she was 5 and Bryce said, "wow, that's really cool!"  He had everyone laughing.

The sliver

Bryce loves the outdoors and is usually never afraid to try new things.  He had a great time playing outdoors in the nice weather.  He had one minor accident this day...a sliver in his finger.  He came to me and said, "mom I got a green guy (sliver looked green) in my finger.  Aw mom, there's sauce all over my finger too (referring to the tiny speck of blood on his finger). He has quite the imagination!

Sweet 7 month old

We discovered that Brayden is getting three teeth at the same time...and still as sweet and happy as ever!

Aunt Kristie and Brayden

Brayden loved seeing his Aunt T last weekend!

Aubrey and Brayden

Aubrey was a great helper bring Brayden all sorts of toys and books while he was in his exersaucer.  She loved Brayden...when she saw him she would say, "Hi baby!" and give a big hug and kiss.  She is such a sweet cousin!

Buddies

Bryce and Samuel are great buddies.  Here they are relaxing in Papa's recliner...but not for long!  They love to play with trains and cars together.

Bryce and the big piano

Bryce loves the big piano he got from papa and gigi.  In this video he is playing the big piano very expressively and well....just being Bryce I guess :)

Playing piano

Bryce and Brayden love to play the big piano together.  Bryce will either run as fast as he can across it or roll all over it.  Brayden likes to roll over to his tummy so he can get a chance to play too.

Our buddy

Heather visited us last week and Bryce kept asking dad, "who's mommy's buddy?"  Then he would smile because he knew her name but thought he was being so funny.  Brayden loved Heather too!

Bills fans!

Happy helper

Bryce was very eager to help with the move.  He came out of the kitchen and exclaimed that he had taken the tape off the boxes....he had managed to take the tape off of every single box but luckily didn't take anything out of the boxes.  He loved when I would ask him to untape another box for me.  He also loved helping me scrunch the paper down in empty boxes.

So much fun

Bryce had alot of fun unpacking the other night.  He didn't have any toys out so he built this cardboard ramp for his matchbox cars and enjoyed that for a while.  He must have gotten tired of that because then I found him "swimming" in the packing paper.  I told him while unpacking one box that it was like unwrapping Christmas presents but not fun like Christmas because the packers wrapped every tiny item....he said, "it looks like fun...I'll open the presents for you!"...I thought about it because I wasn't sure which would be worse :)

Unpacking, pretzel-making, pj party time

Bryce was thrilled to hear that we were going to have an unpacking, pretzel-making, pj party Monday night.  He got to stay up later than usual and help us unpack the new house and bake pretzels all while in his pjs....which he then considers an awesome pj party.

Roller

Bray loves to roll to his back and belly and back and belly until he can go no further.  He is somewhat of an obsessive roller which makes it difficult to get much done because you're never sure where he might end up!
