Brayden loves his bath but is not so interested in playing and splashing as much as he is in grabbing all the shampoo and soap off the shelves : )

Bryce and dad

Bryce wanted to relax with dad and watch AFV...(or the silly show as he calls it).  He brought out three pillows for himself and a stuffed animal.  He couldn't relax until he had gotten dad three pillows and a stuffed animal as well.

Bryce's birdhouse

Bryce worked very hard coloring this birdhouse and was pretty excited when we went to hang it outside.  He asked if he was going to put it in his room and get a pet bird...anyone who knows mom knows this would never happen...sorry Bryce.  He is still happy to look out the window and see his birdhouse hanging in the tree outside and tells me lots of birds sleep there at night.

Growing!

brayden has developed his own methods of reaching toys and interesting items out of his reach.  He will sort of crawl, sit, and roll to get where he wants.  Today he was just fascinated with the diapers and wipes on this shelf and soon had the entire bottom shelf emptied of its contents!

Sign language

I decided to start teaching the boys some sign language...Bryce is very interested in learning this and I often find him reading the sign language book and practicing signs.  As I was baking this morning Bryce got the book out and sat down to teach Brayden some new signs.

Bryce's game night

Bryce is always thrilled when we announce we're having a special night just for him.  On this night we decided to make a cookie pizza for Bryce and play all his favorite board games.  He was very happy when he won sequence...not so happy when he lost flippity find :)  You'll have to excuse Bryce's apparel for these pictures but this was his favorite outfit that week!

Breakdancing Bryce!!

bryce was very excited to hear that there would be dancing at Aunt Amy and Uncle Jim's wedding reception this weekend.  He told me he was ready to show off his moves...we often work on the grocery shopping, fishing, and football move at home.  I thought he would be a bit tentative around a large group of somewhat unfamiliar people but he gobbled up his cake and ran to the dance floor.  He ran out and started breakdancing.  He was loving the attention...which doesn't surprise us at all...that's just Bryce :)

I was so proud of my three handsome boys at the wedding this weekend.  We all had a great time celebrating with friends and family.

I love, love, love my two sweet boys.  We all got ready for Aunt Amy and Uncle Jim's rehearsal this night.  Brayden was all smiles and Bryce was just ready to get on the road and see his cousins...hence the silly faces!

Birthday fun!

Bryce had tons of fun at his cousin Ryan's 4th birthday party.  We had a water gun fight in which Bryce managed to stay completely dry.  I wondered how he managed this and I watched later to find that he ran to the garage and hid for a bit while some of the water fighting was going on.  He had fun with water balloons and the water slide in the pool.

Brayden surprised me one day when i put him on his tummy to play and left the room...I came back to find him sitting in a different spot.  he is not crawling just yet but has mastered going from his tummy to sitting.  Now i find him sitting all the time usually with a big smile on his face :)

New undies

bryce recently traded his briefs in for some boxers and is now a tad obsessed with the boxers.  He no longer wants briefs...only boxers.  and i have a hard time getting him to put pants on over his boxers because he said just the boxers are fine.  I was working outside one day and bryce emerged from the house like this after waking up from his nap!
